How It Works

The Aspire Training starts in the classroom where you learn the key work skills. Upon completing the Key work skills, you will be moved into the Mastroe social enterprise where you will be engaged primarily in manufacturing for the Work Experience Based Training. Here, your supervisor will be observing the application of what you learned in your work skills training. Finally, you will take the preparation for work module before completing the programme.

Is It For You?

A beneficiary that has barriers to work but want to give employers the re-assurance that you have the necessary personal, social and functional skills and etiquette required for effectiveness and efficiency in the workplace.

You have been out of work for a while and want to refresh yourself with work skills and get some experience of the workplace.

You are a student, employee or individual that doesn’t really perform well in a standard classroom environment and prefers to get practical work skills in a work environment.

Your CV lacks work experience and you want to add work skills and work experience to your profile.

Completing The Programme

Beneficiaries that successfully complete the programme are presented with a Standard Certificate for the completion of the Standard Aspire Programme, as well as a letter detailing learning and performance. These documents are very helpful and differentiate our beneficiaries during their Job applications.

Beneficiaries can further engage with the Mastroe social enterprise until they receive the Mastroe Intermediary certificate. Beneficiaries that reach a high work standard and are able to display proficiency in their area by teaching and managing new beneficiaries will ultimately receive the Mastroe Advanced certificate.
