Mastroe Work Experience Programmes
Mastroe work experience programmes focus primarily on Workplace preparation, up-skilling and Practical Training in the use of Industry specific Systems, Processes, Workflows and Equipment – Development is monitored and measured as trainees display their ability and competency within individual or team tasks and projects.
Current Work Experience programmes are in 3 strategic areas – Enterprise, Creative and Vocational. Individuals that have completed training elsewhere can come on a Mastroe work experience programme and ultimately increase their chances for employment.
Note: Work Experience programmes are mainly for individuals who have received work skills training or can demonstrate that they have the basic skills to function effectively in a work environment. Please refer clients that do not fit this criteria to our Work Skills Programmes.
Enterprise Work Experience Programmes
Enterprise work experience programmes up-skill and prepare trainees for work in Admin, Retail, Customer services or other office based roles.
Beneficiaries receive training in the use of office equipment, software and Engage in industry standard workflows, processes and systems such as Webshop and Website and social media maintenance, Odoo ERP, Sage, SAP for order to cash, Client communication, purchase to pay or other Industry standard processes. Creative Work Experience Programmes
Creative work experience programmes up-skill and prepare trainees for work in Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography, Sign Making Industry, Clothing and apparel Printing, 3D Printing, Promotional items printing, Manufacturing or other creative roles.
Trainees receive training and engage in the use of Industry standard creative software, equipment, workflows, processes and systems such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign as well as processes and workflows for client communication, product proofing, Manufacturing, Printing, Cutting, Laminating, screen printing or other Industry processes.
Vocational Work Experience Programmes
Our Vocation work experience programmes are primarily for beneficiaries who require work experience and skills for work in Craft, Woodwork, Construction, Building, Maintenance or work in any of the major building wholesale, trade or retail outlets.
Most of the practical training and work experience in vocational programmes are Hands on. Beneficiaries learn while working on different internal, charitable or external projects. Vocational programmes deliver training in one of the following craft – primarily (Art or Jewellery Making) ; Woodwork or Maintenance that includes Plumbing, Electric, Painting / Decorating or Landscape Gardening. Certification and Other Opportunities
On completion, beneficiaries receive a Mastroe certificate. Beneficiaries can continue to engage with the Mastroe Social Enterprise to gain the Intermediary and ultimately the Advanced Certification.
Beneficiaries are helped into other opportunities that include employment at Mastroe or with other organizations.In this way our beneficiaries can experience Training, Work Experience, Development and Employment within the same organization.
